The “Burgstall” area looks back at a long tradition. Already at around 800 BC there was a castle on the hill above the “Burgerhof” which gave our home its name “Burgstall”.

The beginnings of our house reach back in history as far as the middle of the 14th century. From the very start to the ending of the 18th century “Bad Burgstall” was a popular bathing place where a considerable number of people suffering from gastric trouble, liver diseases, rheumatic pains, lung diseases or gynaecological disorders took a cure.

In order to give you a better understanding of the agrarian style of life from past times, we have carefully collected a few pieces and integrated them into our recreation rooms.
