After every long winter we desperately wait for crocuses, daffodils and tulips which colour the landscape again – just like the wonderful flavour of the fruit trees’ blooming period that make our souls blossom.

Summer in “Burgstall”

Time to climb the mountains! Here, the world-famous Dolomite mountains which are part of the world’s natural heritage are within your reach. Whoever is willing to, can also climb one or the other peak.

After a successful hiking, cycling or culture day you can refresh yourself in one of the bathing ponds of Luson or in the swimming pools “Aquarena” in Bressanone or even in our swimming pool.

Nature finally shows us the whole range of its colour palette: red, yellow, orange and green make the world alive. Time to go “törggelen”: It is a South Tyrolean tradition to stop by in a local, rustical “Törggele”-place after a nice hike in the mountains in

order to try out some home-cooked local fare like “Schlutzkrapfen” (a type of ravioli), dumplings, “Gselchtes” (smoked meat) with “Kraut” (cabbage) and “Krapfen” (fritters). Don’t forget to order roast chestnuts and fresh young South Tyrolean wine!

Winter on Plose mountain

Our holiday home is perfect for everyone who simply loves skiing and who wants to include skiing into their winter activities since the family ski area “Plose” is at a distance of 5 minutes by car.

However, winter does not only offer fun on the slopes, but also various other outdoor activities like hiking or snow shoe hiking. Enjoy the wonderful quietness in our winter wonderland…

What about some fun sledging on South Tyrol’s longest toboggan run? You can lend some sledges at our place for free!
